Our Sweet Potato Cheesecake and Sweet Potato Pound Cake have been featured on The Food Network, The NY Daily News and NY Live with Jacque Reid. Our founder and head chef has been in the industry for over 40 years and found huge success by serving as a private chef and catering events for various celebrities such as Steve Harvey, Mo'Nique, Jay-Z, Janet Jackson and many others. His inspiring story has been featured in Black Enterprise Magazine, providing pride and motivation to the Brooklyn community.

 

The Sweet Tooth was started on a shoe-string budget from the owner's home kitchen and in spite of overcoming open heart surgery and a partial foot amputation, he was able to successfully grown into our current location. The result of his hard work, dedication and love of food shows in the "out of this world" desserts and delicious meals he prepares everyday.

 

The Sweet Tooth is a hidden gem and has been a staple of the Bedstuy, Brooklyn community for over 24 years. Between the owner's captivating personality and delectable food, people travel for miles weekly to get their desserts and homestyle comfort food!
